Applicant must be at least 18 years old, and of good character and reputation

Applicant must successfully complete a 60 hour real estate broker course approved by the commission, that includes a 3 hour course in real estate ethics (exemptions exist for those qualified to practice law in the state)

An applicant must pass a real estate broker examination given by the examination provider PSI, approved by the Commission

An applicant must obtain a commitment from a licensed real estate broker providing that the applicant shall become affiliated with the licensed real estate broker as a real estate salesperson on the granting of a real estate salesperson license to the applicant

If applicant has a criminal conviction, they must submit a True Test Copy of the charges from any and all courts in which they have been convicted of a crime
